1. Booking and Deposit
1.1 A deposit of 50% of the total hire fee is required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation (see section 5.1 for details).
1.2 A 50% security deposit is applied at the time of booking, and is refundable upon successful return of items at the end of the hire period.
1.3 Full payment is required 14 days prior to the event date. Failure to pay by this time may result in the cancellation of your booking.
1.4 By paying the deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Hire Period
2.1 The standard hire period is for 4 days, beginning on the date and time of delivery and ending on the date and time of collection.
2.2 Extensions may be available upon request and will incur additional charges. Any extension requests must be made at least 14 days in advance of the event.
3. Delivery and Collection
3.1 Delivery and collection charges will apply based on the location and specific requirements. These will be quoted separately and included in the final hire fee.
3.2 The client is responsible for ensuring safe and accessible conditions for delivery and collection, including adequate parking and loading facilities.
3.3 If delivery or collection is delayed due to the client’s actions, additional fees may apply.
4. Use and Care of Décor Items
4.1 All hired décor items remain the property of Rustic Wedding Hire.
4.2 Hired items must be used as intended and treated with care. Any damage, alteration, or misuse will result in additional charges for repair or replacement.
4.3 The client is responsible for any loss or damage to hired items from the time of delivery until collection.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event date will forfeit the deposit.
5.2 Cancellations made 14 days or less before the event will incur 100% of the full hire fee.
5.3 In the unlikely event that Rustic Wedding Hire is unable to fulfill your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments received will be provided.
6. Liability
6.1 Rustic Wedding Hire will not be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use or handling of the hired décor items.
6.2 It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that décor items are positioned safely and securely throughout the event.
7. Changes to Order
7.1 Any changes to the order must be submitted in writing at least 14 days prior to the event.
7.2 Additional items requested are subject to availability and will incur additional charges.
8. Photography and Marketing
8.1 Rustic Wedding Hire reserves the right to take photographs of the décor setup and use these for marketing purposes unless otherwise advised by the client in writing.
9. Agreement
9.1 By making a booking with Rustic Wedding Hire, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Any breach of these terms may result in additional charges and/or the termination of the hire agreement.
